In a month - one and half month after coupling a snail is ready to lay eggs.

A snail is going to lay eggs. One can see semi-transparent bag full of eggs through the windpipe of a snail.

The eggs have a solid covering, their size is about 5x4 mm, and their colour is from white till bright yellow.

Achatina eggs laying seen through the transparent bottom of terrarium.

Earthing itself, a snail lays about 200 - 250 eggs.

The same eggs laying 22 days after.

In 2-4 weeks little snails will appear. Some days more (up to 2 weeks) they stay underground, eating the coverings of their eggs.

  Achatina snails have hatched out.
